The Wood River Girls Wrestling Team is competing in the Flatwater Fracas at the Heartland Event Center this weekend. Wood River went 2-2 today dropping duals to Minden and Kearney High while defeating Seward and Grand Island JV. Wrestling will resume at 9:30 tomorrow morning.
Noah was the Mario Kart champion to cap off the morning games. We then headed to the gym and had a blast playing minute-to-win-it holiday themed games to close out the day. Mrvicka's advisory was the overall winner for the high school games and Kuecker's advisory group was the winner in the middle school.
In total, the middle and high school collected over 400 food items for the local food bank and had two bags of winter hats, gloves, and scarves to donate to a local shelter. It was a great way to cap off the 1st semester. We ARE Wood River - Always Reaching for Excellence!
Austin is our middle school Brawl Stars champion. Mario Kart is in the semifinals.
Reindeer games are in full swing at the middle and high school. Brek was the winner of the high school Brawl Stars tournament!
