Big thank you to the Dental Hygiene Students from Central Community College for coming to do our required dental screenings! The health of our mouth and teeth play a key role in our overall health. By doing these screenings we can identity any areas of concern and give resources to any family who needs them. Be watching your child's backpack for a Dental Report Card, it will be coming home either tomorrow or early next week!

The preschoolers had some special visitors for Fire Safety month. Thank you to the Wood River Fire and Rescue Department! ##WReagles

The Lady Eagle Volleyball Team will compete in the C2-7 Subdistrict on Monday, Oct. 28th at Thayer Central. Game time is 4:30 vs Doniphan-Trumbull. Games will be streamed on Thayer Central’s YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/thayercentral. GOOD LUCK LADIES!

Congrats to our lunch time intramural volleyball champions!

We are looking for instrument donations to support the Wood River band program.

Student Lighthouse achieved its goal for the blood drive today. In total, the Red Cross was able to collect 41 units of blood. We also were able to recruit 15 first time donors. Huge thanks to all that participated! Our next blood drive will be on February 12th.

Spanish 1 students are peer coaching to practice numbers in the hundreds.

The football game vs Doniphan-Trumbull can be heard on the radio this Friday. It can be heard on 98.9 The VIBE. The game will also be streaming on the Eagle YouTube Channel. GO EAGLES!!

Today is the Student Lighthouse Blood Drive from 12 - 6 pm. We still have 4 open slots (12 pm, 3 pm - Power Red, 4:30 pm, and 5 pm). Every donation can be made as a part of the Big Ten "We Give Blood Drive", The winning university receives $1 million, and individuals who participate are entered to win tickets to the Big Ten Championship. Currently, UNL has a commanding lead and we can help add to the lead.
