
The 6th Grade took a trip this past week to Trails & Rails in Kearney. They traveled back in time to look at the lifestyle in the 1800's as they just finished reading the novel Riding Freedom in their Reading Classes.

The Eagle band marched in the Harvest of Harmony Parade today and sounded great!! Great job!!

1800s was for the characters in the book but also for many of our heritage.

6th Grade Problem Solving took part in the Tower Building Challenge this week! Students were tasked to build the tallest tower with limited supplies.





6th grade English students writing their first 5 paragraph essay about their field trip to Rowe Sanctuary! Writing informational text with background knowledge and using textual evidence from a book shared with us on our experience.

On Monday, September30th, the WR High School Choir went to Kearney to participate in the UNK Choral Day. Six High School Choirs were invited to be a part of this premier event. A mass choir concert completed the day. Individual choirs also performed at the concert.
