Thanks to all that took part in the Breaking Barriers event tonight. It was night of celebrating differences like language, culture and types of food. It was also a night of celebrating similarities such as love of our students, school and FOOD. Big thanks to the Latino families for making Polzole and Ponche. #buildingbridges #wreagles
Wood River/Shelton junior high girls basketball finishes the year with a big win over Doniphan Trumbull and a Valentino’s pizza party! The girls learned a lot, we got better each game, and were very coachable and fun to be around. Hope to see all the 8th graders continue in their basketball careers next year in high school. Keep working hard in the off-season and us as coaches are very proud of you!
Merry Christmas Wood River. If over the Holidays someone comes across a picture of our 1928 boys state basketball picture, I would love to have a copy to put on our wall at Wood River High School. We lost to Stockville 26-23 first round of state in 1928.
