This past weekend the Wood River Marching Band traveled to Grand Island to take part in the 82nd Annual Harvest of Harmony Parade. This was long but successful day for the band. Out of 25 Class C bands Wood River ranked 7th.

The 6th Grade took a trip this past week to Trails & Rails in Kearney. They traveled back in time to look at the lifestyle in the 1800's as they just finished reading the novel Riding Freedom in their Reading Classes.
